 Jose Antonio Molina:
Jose Antonio Molina is one of today's leading orchestral and operatic conductors in Latin America. In 1990 he won the Exxon Endowment for Conductors after being chosen from over 100 conductors from all over the world. In 1996 he was appointed music director of the Greater Palm Beach Symphony. In the classical field, Molina has worked with artists such as Luciano Pavarotti, Marylin Horne, Jose Carreras and Andrea Bocelli. He has been the conductor and chief arranger of the "Pavarotti and Friends" concerts in Modena, Italy since 1996, where he has conducted or arranged for pop megastars such as Elton John, Stevie Wonder, Sheryl Crow, Liza Minelli, Celine Dion, Sting, Natalie Cole and Ricky Martin, among others. Jose Antonio Molina has worked intensively for the recording industry as an arranger, conductor, and orchestrator for such stars as Gloria Estefan, Julio Iglesias, Jose Feliciano, Juan Luis Guerra, Raul Di Blasio, Alejandro Sanz, Cristian Castro, Presuntos Implicados, Chi Chi Peralta, Jon Secada, Joan Osborne, Elton John, and Sheryl Crow.
