Founded in 1994 by violinist Alfredo Oliva, Miami Symphonic Services has established a proven track record for contracting recording orchestras and top notch studio musicians for commercial studio recordings in the South Florida area.

Under the name Miami Symphonic Strings, our studio musicians appear on the credits of hundreds of artists including Busta Rhymes with Stevie Wonder ("Been Through the Storm" from The Big Bang), Barbra Streisand & Barry Gibb, Scott Stapp of Creed ("Broken" from The Great Divide), Gloria Estefan, Michael Jackson ("Heaven Can Wait" and "Whatever Happens" from Invincible), Alejandro Sanz, Jose Feliciano, Paulina Rubio, Vic Damone, Jennifer Lopez, Shakira, The Bee Gees, Julio Iglesias, Jon Secada, Cristian Castro, Placido Domingo, Enrique Iglesias, and many more (see our Recording Credits). The Miami Symphonic Services string quartet recently completed work for MTV Unplugged: Ricky Martin, performing on four songs.
